On 6 Dec 03 Jack Walters, age 35, 23960 State Route 339 North, Beverly, reported an unknown suspect(s) totally demolished his mailbox between 10 pm on 5 Dec and 8:30 am on 6 Dec. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 6 Dec 03 a Marietta woman reported her 17 year old son became hostile after being asked to help clean house. The juvenile then tried to break the windows of his mother’s car and started fighting with his 15 year old brother then ran away. The juvenile was later located by ODNR Officer Bear and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center for being unruly (602).

On 6 Dec 03 Patricia Jackson, age 46, 70 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, reported an unknown suspect(s) took a checkbook containing 40 checks from a drawer in her home. Ms. Jackson last saw the checkbook around 15 Nov 03. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 6 Dec 03 a Washington County woman reported since October she received two harassing phone calls from her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 6 Dec 03 a Lower Salem resident called the Sheriff’s Office and stated he had been drinking all day and threatened to harm himself. The individual requested a ride to and willingly checked himself into the hospital (1291).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Tracy L. Schulteisz, age 26, 852 Greene Street, Marietta, for no operator’s license, a misdemeanor. Schulteisz was arrested on County Road 3 by Trooper Smith of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Dec 03 at 2:30 am.

Camille C. Collins, age 39, 1103 Farson Street, Belpre, for a probation violation, a misdemeanor. Collins was arrested by probation officer Hamilton of the Marietta Probation Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Dec 03 at 4:30 pm.

Glen L. Daugherty, age 51, for a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Daugherty was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Dec 03 at 11:24 pm.

Ronald R. McCrady, age 57, 618 Depot Street, Belpre, for a misdemeanor charge of OMVI. McCrady was arrested on Maple Street by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Dec 03 at 5:05 am.
