On 2 Dec 03 the Sheriff’s Office received a report that while shooting at a deer, a hunter discharged his firearm across State Route 821 in Warner. This incident remains under investigation (592) (1183).

On 2 Dec 03 Susan Thomas, age 50, 6870 County Road 42, Whipple, reported that she believes an unknown person(s) have been on her property tampering with her residence. This case remains under investigation (586).

The Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Justin Bryce Davis, age 21, Route 1 Box 126B, Lowell, OH, for contempt of court for failure to appear in court for a hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $262.00. Davis was originally cited for disorderly conduct by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Bryan Boston, age 22, 7 Fairmont Avenue Apt. 1, Philippi, WV, for assault. Boston was charged by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Amanda F. Atkinson, age 27, 39 Hillcrest Court, Parkersburg, WV, for a misdemeanor count of probation violation. Atkinson was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail in West Virginia by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 03 at 10:45 am.

Kathy R. Harner, age 34, 1604 Hill Street, Belpre, for OMVI, a misdemeanor. Harner was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 03 at 10:50 am.

Dorothy P. Crosby, age 32, 570 Fredericks Street, Nelsonville, for felony probation violation. Crosby was arrested at her residence by probation officer Smith of the Adult Probation Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 03 at 2:20 pm.

Majed A. Maliki, age 21, 818 Ridge Street, Marietta, for felony probation violation. Maliki was picked up at Septa in Nelsonville by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 03 at 4:50 pm.
