On 28 Nov 03 an employee of Par Mar, 8600 State Route 339, Barlow, reported that the driver of a white GMC Suburban drove off at 7:20 pm without paying for $10 in 89 octane gas. This case remains under investigation (500) (597).

On 28 Nov 03 while on patrol northbound on State Route 7 near milepost 29 in Marietta Township, Deputy Sheriff Jenkins observed a vehicle traveling faster than the 55 mph speed limit in the southbound lane. Upon making contact with the driver Mitchell R. Stoneburner, age 22, 528 Danbury Lane, Avon Lake, OH, Deputy Jenkins noticed an odor of alcohol. After failing standardized field sobriety tests Mr. Stoneburner was arrested for OMVI and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 28 Nov 03 Nima Close, age 39, 21690 State Route 339, Beverly, reported that between 23 Nov and 24 Nov an unknown person(s) stole a bottle of prescription medication containing 28 pills from her home. This case remains under investigation (232).
On 28 Nov 03 Jill M. Barrett, age 21, 811 Campbell Drive, Belpre, reported that her cellular phone was stolen from a friend’s house between midnight and 3 am on 27 Nov. This case remains under investigation (602).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Zachary Roth Miles, age 19, 1004 Kimball Drive, Ocoee, FL, for Theft and Possession of Drugs, both Misdemeanors, and Forgery and Possession of Drugs, both felonies. Miles was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the County Jail on 28 Nov 03 at 3:45 AM.

Dennis Ray Oakley, age 23, 317 Gilman Street Apartment C, Marietta OH, for Violation of Protection Order, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Damaging, all misdemeanors. Oakley was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Mitchell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the County Jail on 28 Nov 03 at 8:02 PM.

Mitchell Ryan Stoneburner, age 22, 528 Danbury Lane, Avon Lake, OH, for Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence 2 nd Offense. Stoneburner was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Jenkins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the County Jail on 28 Nov 03 at 10:41 PM.
