On 26 Nov 03 Patti Jo Bauerbach, age 38, Lot 25 Pennock Trailer Court, Beverly, reported that she was awakened at 5 am by her ex-boyfriend requesting to talk to her. At the behest of Ms. Bauerbachthe man left, causing no need for police action (1291).

On 26 Nov 03 a Warren High School student reported that between 3 pm on 25 Nov and 9 am on 26 Nov, an unknown person stole $56 from her purse. This case remains under investigation (602).

On 26 Nov 03 Teresa Muntz, age 48, 1960 Bender Road, Marietta, reported that between 11 pm on 25 Nov and 1:30 am on 26 Nov, an unknown person(s) drove a vehicle through her yard causing damage. This incident remains under investigation (586).

On 26 Nov 03 the mother of a 14 year old Macksburg female reported that her daughter threw a rock through the glass window of a door to her home. As a result Deputy Willson filed an affidavit requesting a summons for the juvenile for criminal damaging.

On 26 Nov 03 Paul E. Wilcoxen, age 41, 1090 Cornes Road, Little Hocking, reported that between 5 pm on 25 Nov and 10 am on 26 Nov, an unknown person(s) shot and killed his dog, an Australian Blue Heeler. This case remains under investigation (602).

On 26 Nov 03 an employee of Belpre Sand & Gravel, 320 Cemetery Road, Belpre, reported that between 5 pm on 25 Nov and 6 am on 26 Nov, an unknown person(s) broke into a building and stole two padlocks and a chain. This case remains under investigation (602).

On 26 Nov 03 Deputy Sheriff Hiatt was dispatched to the home of Rogainea Modich, age, 36, 7170 State Route 60, Marietta, concerning a domestic dispute in which her live-in boyfriend threw a piggy bank at her. An investigation concluded that Ms. Rodich in fact threw the piggy bank at her boyfriend. Ms. Modich was arrested for falsification, in violation of section 2921.13(A-2) of the Ohio Revised Code, and transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ronald Lee Cyrus Hornbeck, age 31, Route 1 Box 48 Coolville, OH, for Disorderly Conduct (Intoxication). Hornbeck was arrested on State Route 339 by Deputy Sheriff Simmons of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the County Jail on 26 Nov 03 at 2:40 AM.

Daniel Preston Edwards, age 33, Route 2 Box 152 Marietta, OH, for felony Breaking & Entering. Edwards turned himself in at the Washington County Jail where he was arrested by Detective Wells of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Edwards was processed into the County Jail on 26 Nov 03 at 4:40 AM.

Rogainea Lynn Modich, age 36, 7170 State Route 60 Lowell, OH, for Falsification, a misdemeanor. Modich was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the County Jail on 26 Nov 03 at 12:15 PM.

James Edward Corbitt III, age 26, 1424 Barth Road Belpre, OH, for Telephone Harassment and Menacing, both misdemeanors. Corbitt was arrested on County Road 17 Marietta, OH by Deputy Sheriff Eddy of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the County Jail on 26 Nov 03 at 1:08 PM.
