On 21 Nov 03 Jeremy L. Binegar, age 27, 200 Gale Avenue, Newport, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that 1:30 am and 9:30 am on 21 Nov an unknown person(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole two 12 inch Rockford Fosgate speakers and three CD cases containing approximately 120 CD’s. This case remains under investigation (1071).

On 21 Nov 03 Deputy Sheriff Jenkins investigated a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of Warren High School in Barlow.
While en route to exit the parking lot, a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass owned by Rebecca Antill, Route 2 Box 351A Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, struck the rear right fender of a 1997 Chevy Cavalier owned by a 17 year old female. Damage was slight and no injuries were reported.

On 21 Nov 03 Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 840 Pike Street, Sierra Apartments #39, Marietta, in response to a loud disturbance and argument. Upon arrival Jason E. Barnes, age 27, 840 Pike Street #39, Marietta, was verbally abusive to the deputies and hindered the investigation of the incident. Mr. Barnes was arrested for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct, in accordance with sections 2921.31 and 2917.11(A) of the Ohio Revised Code, and transported to the Washington County Jail (232) (905) (1090) (500).

On 21 Nov 03 Benjamin T. Ladd, age 67, 7432 Federal Road, Cutler, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that between 7 Nov and 21 Nov an unknown person(s) broke into an unoccupied rental property at Route 1 Box 240A, Cutler, and stole 100 feet of black phone cable. This case remains under investigation (602).

On 21 Nov 03 Deputy Sheriff Mankins was dispatched to the home of Shannon Collins, age 29, 210 Upper Fifteen Mile Road, Wingett Run, in response to a domestic dispute. After being asked to leave, Ms. Collins’ live in boyfriend Nickie J. Myers, age 29, became verbally abusive. Deputy Mankins arrested Mr. Myers for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail (296).

On 21 Nov 03 Cheryl A. Crum, age 38, Whipple, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that while she was working at Thomson’s Landscaping, 26130 State Route 7, Marietta, an unknown person(s) took a wallet from her purse. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 21 Nov 03 Deputy Sheriff Eddy investigated a two car crash in the parking lot of the Prosonic Corporation, State Route 7, Reno. An unoccupied Ford Tempo was struck while Justin D. Hill, age 18, 27130 State Route 7, Marietta, was backing his 1984 Camaro in preparation to leave the lot. Damage was minor and no injuries were reported.

On 21 Nov 03 Nathaniel Becker, age 24, 1500 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that between 15 Sep 03 and 30 Oct 03 an acquaintance allegedly entered his home without permission and took a jar of change. This case remains under investigation (897).

On 21 Nov 03 Deputy Sheriff Spencer investigated a one vehicle accident on Long Run Road, 1.1 miles north of Sandhill Road. Hilda I. Tidd, age 63, 1093 Long Run Road was backing a Frontier School District school bus into a parking area at her residence when she struck a newspaper box and knocked it over. As a result, Ms. Tidd was issued a citation for improper backing. Damage was light and no injuries were reported.

On 21 Nov 03 an employee of the Washington County Juvenile Court reported an 18 year old male at Warren High School stole a pair of blue and white" And 1 Brand" basketball shoes. This case remains under investigation (296).

The Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Timothy Mackey, age 23, Route 2 Box 454AA2, Vincent, OH, for Menacing by Stalking. Mackey was charged by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (501).

James E. Corbitt III, age 26, 1424 Barth Road , Belpre , OH , for Telephone Harassment and Menacing. Corbitt was charged by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (945).

John M. Ullom, age 40, Route 1 Box 216, Waterford , OH, for Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence and Left of Center. Ullom was charged by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Adam D. Wilson, age 21, 169 Wells Avenue , Marietta , for probation violation, a misdemeanor and burglary, a felony. Wilson was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Gault of the Adult Probation Authority and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 03 at 11:40 am.

Pebbel M. Kinney, age 18, 310 Sixth Street , Marietta , for forgery, a felony. Kinney was arrested at her residence by Deputy Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 03 at 5:05 pm.

Norton M. Gregor, age 29, 623 Virginia Street , Marietta , for second offense OMVI, speeding, no seat belt, driving under suspension and failure to register, all misdemeanors. Gregor was arrested on State Route 60 near milepost 14 by Trooper Courson of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 03 at 8 pm.

Willie F. Clay, age 39, 203 Webster Street, Clarksburg, WV, for a felony count of probation violation and misdemeanor counts of no operator’s license and giving false information to avoid a ticket. Clay was arrested in Marietta by Trooper Keener of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 03 at 1:45 am.

Jason E. Barnes, age 27, 840 Pike Street, Marietta, for misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and obstructing official business. Barnes was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Spencer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 03 at 5:00 am.
