On 10 Nov 03 Kevin W. Roberts, age 36, 282 Cooper Ridge Road, Williamstown, WV, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that between 2 pm on 9 Nov and 4 am 10 Nov an unknown suspect(s) removed several items from a construction site at 150 Goble Road, Wingett Run. The items taken include two halogen lights from a Bobcat, ten rolls of 15 pound felt paper, two nine foot rolls of Tyvek housepaper, two tie-down straps, a 100 foot extension cord, a two foot level and assorted boxes of nails. This incident remains under investigation (1184).

On 10 Nov 03 the Sheriff’s Office filed an affidavit requesting a summons for a 16-year-old St Mary’s female for falsification. The juvenile was charged after she admitted lying about being raped on 13 Oct 03 (1190).

On 10 Nov 03 James H. Windland, age 57, 803 Elm Street, Belpre, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that between 10 Oct and 7 Nov an unknown suspect(s) entered his cabin on Wildwood Lake Road in Decatur Township. The suspect(s) took several cans of Busch Light, two chainsaws, a weedeater and two tackleboxes full of fishing gear. This incident remains under investigation (1184).

On 10 Nov 03 Dan Ritchie, age 42, Route 8 Box 186, Marietta, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that between 4 pm on 9 Nov and 8 am on 10 Nov unknown suspect(s) damaged a car wash machine and removed a coin box from the Reno Carwash on State Route 7 in Reno. This incident remains under investigation (792).

On 10 Nov 03 Thomas Sickles, age 46, 87 Tower Road, Little Hocking, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that between 7 Nov and 10 Nov someone entered his residence and removed a Panasonic camcorder and a portable scanner. Also missing was a utility trailer taken from his back yard. This incident remains under investigation (500) (597).

On 10 Nov 03 Lyle L. Finley, age 52, 1119 Cisler Drive, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that an unknown person(s) dumped trash over a road bank onto the property of Richard Adams on Township Road 149 in Coal Run. This case remains under investigation (669).

On 10 Nov 03 Gale R. Strickler, age 66, 4075 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that an unknown person(s) dumped trash on her property between 29 Oct and 3 Nov. This case remains under investigation (669).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Leroy Junior Clark, age 28, Marietta, for contempt of a court order, assault, misdemeanors and receiving stolen property, a felony. Clark was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 03 at 1:41 pm (174).

Brandon Lee Hoffert, age 18, Marietta, for two counts of probation violation, both misdemeanors. Hoffert was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 03 at 4:05 pm (174).
