On 8 Nov 03 Sheriff’s Deputy Huffer issued a citation to Joseph Schaad, age 23, for failing to obey a stop sign. This incident took place after Mr. Schaad failed to stop turning from Tennis Center Drive onto State Route 7.

On 8 Nov 03 Sheriff’s Deputies Gherke and Norman were dispatched to the home of Tisha Clark, age 23, 8261 Muskingum Drive, concerning a domestic dispute. Mrs. Clark stated her husband was intoxicated and tearing things apart. An investigation concluded that no threats of violence or assault took place therefore no charges were filed.

On 8 Nov 03 the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Marietta Police Department in the recovery of a stolen Ford Econoline van and the subsequent arrest of the suspect Christopher B. Arnett, 4791 Waterford Road, Marietta (1183) (1291) (1184) (698).

On 8 Nov 03 a Reno woman reported to the Sheriff’s Office that she received seven disturbing and harassing phone calls during a 24 hour span beginning 7 Nov 03. This case remains under investigation (107).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Christopher Arnett, 4791 Waterford Road, Marietta, OH, for theft and breaking & entering. Arnett was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11/08/03 at 1710.
