On 4 Nov 03 Anthony Mowery, age 27, Rural Route
2 Box 1C, Davisville, WV, reported to the Sheriff’s Office
that he observed a gray truck driving recklessly on Beach Drive
in Belpre. Mr. Mowery requested a Deputy to talk with the juvenile
driver concerning the dangers of driving erratically on a residential
street where children could be present (945).
On 4 Nov 03 Jimmie R. Brookover, age 62, PO Box 295 State Route
60, Lowell, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that he was
punched in the back of the head, knocking him down, and stepped
on after leaving the Moose Lodge in Lowell. Mr. Lowell suffered
abrasions to his nose, shoulder, right arm and knees as a result.
This incident remains under investigation (1184).
On 4 Nov 03 Tony Pethel, age 28, Lot 4 Riverview Estates, St.
Marys, WV, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that when
he went to pick up his father’s 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass
at Schilling’s Garage in Whipple it was gone. The vehicle
was parked at Schilling’s Garage on 4 Jul 03 awaiting
work for leaking transmission fluid and a new exhaust. This
case remains under investigation (945).
On 4 Nov 03 David P. Burton, age 56, 95 Federal Road, Little
Hocking, reported to the Sheriff’s Office that he was
threatened during a meeting with the parent of a student at
Little Hocking Elementary School. This incident remains under
investigation (592).
On 4 Nov 03 the father of a Lower Salem 16 year old reported
to the Sheriff’s Office that his son has skipped school
twice in the last month. An affidavit was filed requesting a
summons for the juvenile for being unruly (1291).
On 4 Nov 03 a Washington County woman reported to the Sheriff’s
Office that she was raped. After an investigation the allegations
were determined to be unfounded. An investigation has been initiated
against the woman for falsification (1190).
The Sheriff’s Office
received the following warrants:
Jason W. Steele, age 30, Rural Route 1, Quantico,
VA for passing bad checks.
Ronald L. Workman, age 55, Post Office Box 135, Cedar Grove,
WV for breach of recognizance for failure to appear before Marietta
Municipal Court for a pretrial.
Randy Becker, age 58, Route 6, Box 98, Marietta, OH for failure
to require a dog to wear required tags, and failure to confine/restrain
a dog.
Ronald Lee Cyrus Hornbeck, age 31, Route 1, Box 40A, Coolville,
OH for disorderly conduct/fighting.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Moten, Desmond Dionta, age 21, 1381 Penhurst Street,
Cleveland, for no operator’s license/FRA suspension and
speeding. Moten was arrested by the Ohio Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 11/4/2003 at 1300.
Decker, Richard Curtis, age 46, 121 Muskingum
Drive, Marietta, for failure to file income tax. Decker was
arrested by the Marietta Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11/4/2003 at 1644.
Adams, Christopher Michael, age 31, 217 Gilman
Avenue, Marietta, for failure to file income tax. Adams was
arrested by the Marietta Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11/4/2003 at 1831.
Stevens, Jason Todd, age 28, 4512 State Route
376 117, McConnelsville, for contempt (fines). Stevens was arrested
by the Washington County Sheriff's Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11/4/2003 at 1921 (1183).
Patterson, Robert Earl, age 55, 308 Fifth Street,
Lowell, for theft and violation of a protection order. Patterson
was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 11/4/2003 at 1933 (782).
Haught, Larry Dale Jr, age 23, Route 9 Box 465B,
Marietta, for criminal damaging/endangering and no operator’s
license/FRA suspension. Haught was arrested by the Marietta
Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 11/4/2003 at 2206.
Adams, Mark Steven, age 41, 100 Gilman Street
Lot 3, Marietta, for failure to pay income tax. Adams was arrested
by the Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11/4/2003 at 1500.
