On 1 Nov 03 Tami S. Culbertson, age 24, 600 Tennis
Center Drive, Marietta, reported to the Sheriff’s Office
that while she was doing laundry at the Reno Laundromat on 29
Oct 03 a suspect removed a 3.5 foot ball python from her car
without permission. This incident remains under investigation
(1184).
On 1 Nov 03 a 14 year old male reported to the Sheriff’s
Office that between 10 am and 11:30 am on 1 Nov 03 an unknown
individual stole his Flying Vee guitar from the garage of a
house at 5944 State Route 530. This incident remains under investigation
(1291).
On 1 Nov 03 while on patrol and working a special alcohol and
drug detail westbound on US 50 at Clement Avenue in Belpre,
Sheriff’s Deputy Mankins stopped a vehicle driven by Daniel
M. Ungvarsky, age 19, 379 Turkey Path Road, Sugarloaf, PA, for
speeding. After a K-9 unit indicated the presence of drugs,
the vehicle was searched and 1.5 grams of marijuana and a smoking
pipe were found. Mr. Ungarvsky was issued a citation for speeding,
arrested for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia
and transported to the Washington County Jail (296).
On 1 Nov 03 Tracy Carr, age 32, 591 Lowell Hill Road, Waterford,
reported to the Sheriff’s Office that three juveniles
threw rocks at her car from the train bridge on Main Street
in Waterford around 9 pm, chipping the hood of her Toyota Camry.
This incident remains under investigation (945).
On 1 Nov 03 Sheriff’s Deputy Mankins issued a citation
to Kyle A. Brower, age 23, 708 North Washington Street, Van
Wert, OH, for traveling 74 mph in a 60 mph zone. Mr. Brower
was stopped while eastbound on US 50 near the Kraton plant in
Belpre Township.
On 1 Nov 03 Sheriff’s Deputy Mankins issued a citation
to a female juvenile for traveling 68 mph in a 50 mph zone.
The Akron resident was stopped while westbound on US 50 near
Clement Avenue in Belpre Township.
On 1 Nov 03 while working a special alcohol and drug detail,
Sheriff’s Deputy Mankins stopped a vehicle for speeding
on State Route 7 near the Degussa plant. After a K-9 unit indicated
the presence of drugs, the vehicle was searched and smoking
pipe was found. The driver of the vehicle Matthew D. Wagner,
age 18, 1520 Sheridan Road, South Euclid, OH, was issued a citation
for speeding, arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia
and transported to the Washington County Jail (296).
On 1 Nov 03 an inmate at the Washington County Jail reported
to the Sheriff’s Office that he was assaulted. After an
investigation an affidavit was filed requesting a summons for
Tom Lizon for assault and menacing.
On 1 Nov 03 Sheriff’s Deputies Gherke and Norman were
dispatched to the home of Rebecca Allberry, age 29, 300 4 th
Street Apt A, Beverly, in reference to a domestic violence complaint.
When deputies arrived at the scene Jason Allberry, age 26, was
intoxicated in his front yard with self inflicted cuts on his
face. Mr. stated that he would attack the deputies with a pair
of scissors so they would have to shoot him. Fearing immobilization
with a taser, Mr. Allberry dropped the scissors and was arrested
for domestic violence and disorderly conduct. After receiving
treatment at Marietta Memorial Hospital, he was transported
to the Washington County Jail.

Jason Roger Allberry, age 26, 300 Fourth Street,
Apartment A, Beverly, OH, for Disorderly Conduct (Intoxication)
and Domestic Violence. Allberry was arrested by the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the County
Jail on November 1, 2003 at 8:25 a.m.
Daniel Mark Ungvarsky, age 19, 379 Turkey Path Road, Sugarloaf,
PA, for Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Drugs. Ungvarsky
was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the County Jail on November 1, 2003 at 8:08
p.m.
Daniel Lee Welsh, age 27, 2306 ½ Clement Avenue, Parkersburg,
WV, for No OL/FRA Suspension and No Seatbelt. Welsh was arrested
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the County
Jail on November 1, 2003 at 9:14 p.m.
Matthew Douglas Wagner, age 18, 1520 Sheridan Road, Apartment
S, Euclid, OH, for Drug Paraphernalia and Speeding. Wagner was
arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and
processed into the County Jail on November 1, 2003 at 11:49
p.m.
