Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting will no longer be conducted at the Jail located at 101 Westview Avenue in Marietta, Ohio.

The Sheriff's Office will now be using the computerized Webcheck system to perform background checks for employment purposes. Webcheck allows quicker processing of fingerprint results and no longer requires the use of an actual fingerprint card.

Costs for fingerprinting are: $35 for a BCI check and $45 for an FBI check. Payment must be made payable to the Washington County Sheriff's Office by money order or cashier's check at the time the service is rendered. Personal checks will not be accepted.
